Selection Procedure For AFNS Jobs 2024

Preliminary Tests

Preliminary Selection

After completing the Preliminary test selected candidates will undergo an initial medical test at nearby Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs)

Further Selection Procedure

After that Shortlisted applicants will be interviewed by the General Headquarters (GHQ) selection board in Lahore, Karachi, and Rawalpindi for which separate call-up letters shall be notified. The Candidates will be informed of the interview by Call or SMS. The final selection of the Applicant shall be made at GHQ based on the performance of the applicants.

Documents Required at AS&RCs

The candidates must submit all the required documents at Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs) The documents include

• Domicile (attested copy).
• Photocopies of CNIC Card.
• Three recent photographs duly attested.
• The original certificates//details mark sheet along with 02 sets of attested photocopies of each educational certificate/ degree/diploma.
• Those applicants already serving in Government departments have to submit No Objection Certificates (NOC) of the concerned department.
• Crossed postal order of Rs.100/- in favor of Director General Personnel Administration (DGPA), General Headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi.

Training Period

The selected candidates go for a training period that is 4 years or less than 4 years depending on the course. Selection of candidates depends on the performance of candidates in the initial test and interview

• For BSc Nursing: The Duration is 4 Years of training at AFGMI Rawalpindi, CMH Lahore, CMH Kharian, CMH Multan, CMH Quetta, PNS Shifa Karachi
• For Trained Nurse: The Duration is 6 Weeks of basic military training at AFPGMI Rawalpindi and CMH Kharian

Important Note: After completion of this Training Applicants will granted be a commission in the rank of Lieutenant

Bond

Before the commencement of training, selected applicants will required to sign a bond to serve the Pakistan Army for the minimum period of 10 years of BSc Nursing. It is the agreement between the selected applicant that she is bound to serve the department according to the given period.
