How to Join Different field of PN Cadet

Candidates who are selected go through 2-year training, after that cadets pass out as midshipmen from Pakistan Navy Academy  PNA  and join Ships for six months for practical training. They have to work in different fields in these 06 months and after this training period of six months the midshipmen are commissioned as sub-lieutenants

Operations Branch Officers Sub-lieutenants join a two-and-a-half-year electronics engineering program at the Naval Engineering College, part of NUST. Following their engineering studies at NUST, these officers undergo specialized training at various Pakistan Navy Academies. This training covers key areas such as Surface Warfare, Electronic Warfare, Communications, Navigation and operations, and Underwater Warfare.

• Logistic Branch Officers

sub-lieutenants join the School of Logistics & management. After two years of training, these officers earned a degree BBA (Hons) and joined ships for certification for their competency.

• NBCD

Eligibility Criteria to join Pak Navy as PN Cadet

Inelgibility criteria

Here are the ineligibility criteria to Join the Pak Navy as PN Cadet 2024

• candidates rejected twice by the ISSB cannot be allowed to apply for the PN Cadet
• candidates with a history of offensive, illegal court activity are disqualified
• candidates with unfit medical reports are not accepted into the Pak Navy
• Candidates dismissed from any government sector are not accepted

Educational Criteria to Join Pak Navy as PN Cadet

To Join the Pakistan Navy as a PN Cadet Candidates must pass matric with FSC or O/A Level with a minimum of 60% marks in the following subjects:

• Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry
• Computer Science, Physics and Maths
• Physics, Maths, and Statistics

O/A level Candidates must have to submit equivalency certificates.

FSC Part 1 appearing candidates with a minimum of 65% marks in Part I can also apply They have to provide a Hope certificate from the head of the respective College/Institute.

If candidates fail to attain a 60% mark after providing a Hope Certificate they will be disqualified at any stage of the selection process or discharged during training

Marks relaxation given to Baloch Candidates of 10% at FSC / A-Level Marks as 50% instead of 60% to apply, this % is less than other

Admission Test Date

The relevant PNR&SC will announce the admission test date via their website. The date for the admission test would be implied to each Person through SMS by the respective PN Recruitment and Selection Center

E- Testing

First of all, the candidates will have to appear in an entry test that has a 110-minute duration. The test will be divided into two portions, The first is the intelligence test that candidates will have to attempt within 30 minutes, and then there will be a minute academic test in which applicants will have to answer the questions related to Mathematics, English, Physics, and General Knowledge. The entrance test date will be intimated by the respective PNR&SC through the website. The E-testing will be conducted on a computer based on the following topics:

The E-testing result will be announced to each candidate on Completion.

The results of AJ & K candidates who appeared at PNR & SC Muzaffarabad will be announced on the Pakistan Navy website.

Physical Test

Only candidates who make the shortlist will get a call to do the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) at the right PNR&SC, along with a preliminary medical/interview. Here are the PET standards:

Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB)

Only shortlisted candidates according to merit would be called for Tests/interviews at ISSB. Medical Examinations of ISSB-recommended candidates would be held at the closest CMH/Naval Hospital. The details of this test are given below.

Initial Interview

Initial Medical Test

As per the Pakistan Navy, candidates for the PN Cadet program need to be at least 5 feet tall and 6 Inch. Your weight will be assessed based on the BMI (Body Mass Index) table. The initial exam, including a physical check-up, will be conducted by the Pak Navy Selection Center.

Inter Service Selection Board (ISSB)-recommended candidates will undergo thorough medical examinations at nearby Combined Military Hospitals (CMH).

Final Selection

The final selection will be made by Naval Headquarters in order of merit. Application forms will be given to candidates who pass the preliminary Medical/Interview and Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
